New year’s resolution No. 3: Learn to knit (I’m too disorganised to do my resolutions in order!) Currently, I’ve only learned to cast-on, and the knit stitch. I will not tell you how many times I had to unravel everything and cast-on again because of missed stitches…
From the garden. We learned (the hard way) that onion plants during growth must be propped up-right, because if the green stalk is blown down by the wind and not righted, the onion will not form. at all. so we had more shallots than round onions when we harvested!

This is Sukey, she’s the sweetest little sweetie pie on earth. She hung out next to me during lunch, hoping for a few scraps of turkey (sorry Sukey, it was too good to waste… you can have some of my pavlova instead)
Merry Christmas all! After waking up to christmas carols and tearing open our presents, the family headed over to James’ for christmas lunch, where we were greeted with a slew of unbearably cute pomeranians and bichons, and a whopping turkey with as much stuffing as you desire!
